асинхронный процессор, самотактируемый процессорсравнительно новая (2005 г. - выпуск первого серийного МП) архитектура процессоров, предназначенная в основном для встраиваемых приложений и основанная на том, что синхронизация всех компонентов на системной плате компьютера не происходит от единого тактового генератора, как обычно. Каждая микросхема имеет собственный внутренний генератор тактовых сигналов, а между собой они обмениваются данными по протоколу с квитированием.
